They have a nice game room, very extensive hours, and lots of selection for board games and comics. I love these guys the place is great it has everything you could ever need to be a nerd There can be an arrogance at some stores towards newbies, not here. Kyle at GOB had not only encyclopedic knowledge, but was extremely friendly and helpful. I just got back into comics at 45 and a lot has changed, the genre has grown on a grand scale, so it can be alittle confusing for someone new or like me who has been out of it for so long. What really set this store apart from ALL the rest was the customer service. The selection was huge, the prices and quality comparable to any online service.

Room in the back where you can try several open box board games with your friends for free. Has a monstrously large selection of board games and comics. Either they are putting in the extra effort to protect their wares or they do this to get around the fact that comics books are EXEMPT from the taxable items list and by doing this they can now tax every issue they sell. They bag & board every single comic book they sell. Top-notch playing area, complete with couches and coffee tables for RPGs.
Great place for the uninitiated to get gifts for their game-loving friends and loved ones. Holy selection Batman! Staff is generally quite helpful. Gaming events offered and staff knowledgeable about games. Including buying and selling out of print RPGs.

I'll just buy on amazon and other online stores now where it is cheaper.īest tabletop game store in Michigan, one of the best two in the Midwest (Games Plus of Mount Prospect, IL the other.) GOB has everything RPG and board game related. I did not think I needed to remind him how important it was that I was deployed. One of the staff members said 4 times while I was in the store how important it was I physically came in and picked things up. I'm pretty salty about being removed from a loyalty system from being deployed. Anyway, after I got deployed to the middle east I came back 7 months later to find they had removed me from the system and removed all my points. They also have a good point rewards system for going in.
I was going to this place since it opened and they actually have a half decent staff of nice folk. A great place to find all kinds of role playing games and comics. Great selection but the staff is less than helpful and a little rude.
